Games with minimal or no equipment.

In PE we have been participating in a variety of games that require little or no equipment.
Below is the Matrix which shows our progression in this unit of learning.

The table below shows my understanding of games with minimal or no equipment.
(Fill this table in, in as much detail as possible. )

Examples of Games that need minimal or no equipment.
What equipment would we usually need to play these games.
Why do we play games with minimal or no equipment?

Daniel J Leadership Writing

In writing I have been learning to:
  • use all basic punctuation independently
  • attempt more complex punctuation (eg semicolons, colons, parentheses)

I have been especially focussing on using parentheses and commas. I have highlighted these in green where I have used them as well as other punctuation that I changed because it was used incorrectly. Here is a piece of my writing that shows this.

Leadership is where we take on a role to accomplish for the year. Traits of a good leader are Motivational, Trustworthy, Active Thinker, Resilient, Goal Focused and Integrity. For this year I am a PAL we set up games for the Kauri and the Kakano at the first half of lunchtime.

Integrity is the quality being fair and honest because when i ref games as a PAL I have to be honest and fair to both teams and I think Bill Gates has shown this quality by making microsoft honest and not a scam. When PALS do their duty we have to be fair because if we don´t be fair people won't play the games that we set up. Being honest and fair isn't the only thing PALS have to do.

Motivational is a trait where you encourage a player to do well and it helps when you play sports and I think Bill Gates is Motivational because he set up a company called microsoft and when he was working he was Motivating his work mates. This trait is important for PALS because if we don't Motivate people they won´t play the games. Also I think the quality of being an Active Thinker is a good trait.

Active Thinker means that you always think of new ways to do things Bill Gates has shown this by Actively Thinking about how he could do better or what would people like and updates to get rid of bugs and glitches this is important because if where an Active Thinker we can do all kinds of games so if we don’t think creatively people won't enjoy the same games over and over again.

So if we combine all of the traits such as Integrity, Motivational and Active Thinker we will be a great PALS. So i will be a great PAL for 2017

Merit Post 3 PALs

Today i had to show the value of resilience because the kids were not listening to us so we had to show resilience but the Kakano kids played with the touch ball and had fun so it ended well i hope next time the kids will listen better than what happen today

Merit Post 2 PALs

Today i showed the value of resilience because the Kakano kids all wanted to play with the moon hoppers they were trying to take it off each other but we did a time system and the rest of it went well so the Kakano students really enjoyed using moon hoppers and stilts

I am being a good role model by being at Pals on time and the Kakano kids are enjoying the games for example we that dodge balls around with the Kakano and they said they enjoyed it and most of them played well there were no argument about what happen we asked them to help us pack up and they did so we gave them pozis and told them why they got it. today i showed the care value of listening to the Kakano and listening to what they had to say.
